Cultural
transformation is easily subverted by the prevailing norms. |

The
term culture comes from agriculture. When we use the metaphor
in organizations we sometimes forget that cultures need regular
attention. No farmer or gardener expects success by tilling
the soil, planting their seeds and walking away, yet leaders
in organizations sometimes make this mistake. We help you
continue to cultivate your culture in both calm and turbulent
weather. Culture is also said to be "The way we do things
around here" (Deal & Kennedy). We work with you to
ensure that the way you do things reinforces the values and
behaviors you seek. Some of the most complex organizational
change processes (e.g., mergers and acquisitions, rapid growth,
downsizing, new leadership) fail when they do not attend to
the cultural dimension of the strategy. We work with you to
reach beyond your mission and values statements to engage
the best of your organization's experience, expertise and
talent.
